Our Last Frontier adventures started out at the Lakefront Anchorage Millenium Hotel.
Set on the shore of Lake Spenard, next to Lake Hood, The Lakefront Anchorage is the only hotel in Anchorage with a lakefront location. Literally a 2min drive from the airport it was so convenient and easy to access! I love how Millennium hotels are never cookie cutter and this had a truly authentic Alaskan personality!
We had such wonderful family moments. The lobby was cozy and inviting, perfect to start the day or welcome us after a long day of exploring.
We also really enjoyed our room overlooking the lake with a warm fireplace and a cozy feel! It is perfect for families looking for a bit extra space.
We loved exploring the grounds in front of the lake as well as trying the Flying Machine Restaurant which serves breakfast and dinner with a distinct Alaskan twist as well as the Fancy Moose Lounge which serves great food and drinks, both with views of the lake. Loved catching the seaplanes landing and taking off right from our table!
Everyone was so sweet to Valentina and really went the extra mile to help us feel right at home!
